Phil Noto should draw all the TV characters (he did Bob Newhart for me back at NYCC)

NEW YORK COMIC CON COMMISSION CAVALCADE!
BOB & EMILY HARTLEY by PHIL NOTO
Okay, wow, really, wow. I remember Jimmy Palmiotti telling my boss at Wizard back in 2008 to be on the lookout for Phil Noto, because HE was gonna be BIG. I wish I had paid attention to that statement so I could have gotten the Noto in my life earlier. But thanks to Tumblr, his fantastic art became impossible to escape (in the goodest of all ways). Perhaps you’ve seen his Ron Swanson? Or his spot-on reimagining of Psylocke? Or his detail-rich depictions of Silver Age Marvel heroes as socialites? I am so glad that he tackled Bob Newhart for me (specifically Bob Hartley, my favorite of all the Bobs) AND threw in an Emily (Suzanne Pleshette) without me asking for her. I got two characters! Two! I love this and…I’m honestly amazed at Bob’s plaid jacket. I have no idea how Phil did that with pen and marker.
What a great con!
