Okay, wait. WAIT. Does everyone know about this? Is this a famous thing I somehow missed? Because: WHAT THE FUCK. I don’t want to undermine how sad it is that they lost their child, because it is devastating and I can not imagine, but this is the weirdest thing I have ever heard about it, and I can’t believe this is just a casually discussed fact about them.
Am I wrong to be so surprised/grossed out by this? Is this a thing people would do? What’s happening? What’s reality?
